I have went to Manchester for a day trip by bus,
it takes me around 1 hour plus to reach there from Liverpool,
time reached Manchester is around 10am,
so first things we do is looked for information center to get the map and find out the attractions..
The map in information center is so special~(ok, maybe is just I never seen it before)
After get the map,
we decide not to go to Old Trafford as we don't have enough time for attractions,
therefore first place we looking for is the China Town in Manchester because we wish to have some chinese food that we doesn't eat for a month...
and of course take some photos here..^^
At last we choose this restaurant that is near the Town Hall as the price is AFFORDABLE ~
Tampopo~7.50pound for a set of food..I shared it with my friends..
Town Hall~
*Waterhouse successfully combined the ceremonial and workaday requirements. The Town Hall was designed in the thirteenth century Gothic style but it was, in Waterhouse's words, a building 'essentially of the nineteenth century.' It incorporated such innovations as a warm air heating system. The structure comprises 14 million bricks encased in Spinkwell stone. The exterior of Building, bears some notable sculptures. Over the main door is a statue of the Roman General Agricola, who founded Mamuciam in 79AD. Above him are Henry III and Elizabeth I, while at the apex of the main door gable is a statue of St. George.*.......
(Information getting from Town Hall Guide)
Next take the free bus to MOSI which is Museum of Science and Industry~
MUST go attraction in Manchester~
There are many parts and many different hall in this museum,
and some of the science is quite fun..(I think school can organize trip for student to learn science here)..
We use a lot of time in this place,
so my friend went to shopping in Manchester,
me and another friend continue exploring...
Due to most of the attractions close at 5pm,
therefore I have no chance to go for more attractions,
however, those attractions already give me a lot of experience..
There is no charge for any entrance fees for those museum,
bus number 3 is also free of charge,
the transport fees from Liverpool to Manchester is around 6.6pounds...
