Walker Art Gallery @ Liverpool



*The Walker Art Gallery, in Liverpool, is home to a national collection of paintings,
decorative art and sculpture from the 13th century to the present day.
Originally developed for the people of the city, it now holds the best collection of historic art outside of London.*

* The craft and design gallery displays more than 500 items as diverse as an espresso coffee maker to designer couture dresses.

The sculpture gallery has 120 works of striking European sculpture dating from the 18th century to 1918.*

*Big Art for Little Artists is our family gallery with activities for children up to 8 years old. There are regular events, storytelling sessions and an opportunity ti dress up like a character from the paintings.

The Walker hosts special exhibitions throughout the year accompanied by a varied events programme.
